Onwards and downwards
I fall from my home
With the spring heavy in the wind
And night impatient in the sky
I twirl and writhe
At the mercy of Time
In the zero of my life.
I fall from my home
With the spring heavy in the wind
And night impatient in the sky
I twirl and writhe
At the mercy of Time
In the zero of my life.
Some serac was I
Once upon a tree
Where bred koels and honeybees
Until blight cut me loose
Of my very own vein.
I hear the murmurs of my tree
Deep down awaits
the earth of my dreams
The soil of my youth,
the seed of my being.
I wait to dissolve,
And to be absolved
My mother will set me free.
